This project will carry out the chemical and physical-chemical characterization of different types of frit particles used in the manufacture of ceramic inks for both mass and surface applications.  Among these particles have been selected those that present potential applications regarding their resistance to abrasion. The characterization will be carried out by means of X-Ray Fluorescence, color, size and particle shape, thermal expansion coefficient as well as micro and nanohardness in individual particles before being subjected to the desired application. Once these particles are applied, the obtained materials will be characterized and the results obtained will be compared in both cases. The final materials will also be characterized by the abrasion test (pin-on-disk or roll-on-plate) and the coefficient of friction.
