This project will carry out the territorial characterization of the lithic industry used by the Neanderthal population in mountains of Alicante (Spain). It will study the thermoalteration of the rocks and their involvement in the spatial organization and the management of thermal energy by the Neanderthal groups of the mountains of Alicante. For this project it has been formed an interdisciplinary group of different research centers both national (University of La Laguna, National Center for Research on Human Evolution, University of Valencia, Institute of Ceramic and Glass, Spanish agency Meteorology, and foreign centres (CNRS, Boston University)
